No. The techniques apply across languages and stacks. We focus on the cognitive and communication patterns that make reviews effective. Those patterns transfer from Python to Go to TypeScript without modification.

The complete program runs across five modules. Each module is designed for a half-day workshop format. Teams typically spread these across two to four weeks depending on their schedule and cadence preferences.

Both formats are available. Remote delivery uses interactive video sessions with live code exercises. In-person sessions are available for teams in Tokyo and surrounding areas. Hybrid arrangements for distributed teams are also possible.

The workshops are designed for teams of four to sixteen engineers. Smaller groups allow more personalized feedback during exercises. Larger organizations often run multiple cohorts and include a train-the-trainer component to scale the learning internally.

Yes. Most teams we work with have some process already. The training includes a diagnostic phase where we review your current workflow, identify specific friction points, and tailor the module sequence to address what actually needs work rather than starting from scratch.

Each participant receives a digital workbook, the review checklist templates from Module 2, comment writing reference cards from Module 3, and access to the exercise code repositories used during training. Materials are yours to keep and adapt for your team.
